2024 MLB Players stem league winner
CONGRATULATIONS to 10yr old, Cameron Jackson for representing the HI808! Top-performing students ("All-Star Students") from local and regional tournaments qualify for the global championship event, where they meet peers from across North and South America.
In July, Cameron & his Dad were flown to Arlington, Texas for an unforgettable experience of attending the Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field during MLB All-Star Week.
For 8wks, youth from EPIC training facility use real MLB player statistics to draft teams, track performance, and make strategic gameplay decisions using a board game.
They are taught STEM concepts like multiplication, fractions, percentages, and probability into the game, making math feel relevant. Playing the game teaches collaboration and competition, and emphasizes teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
Thank you Learn Fresh and MLB Player's Trust, going to the Home Run Derby, meeting MLB players and watching the All-Star Game was the highlight of his summer.
Teoscar Hernández of the Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby, defeating Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. 14–13 in the final round at Globe Life Field.
