SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Participants will rotate through a variety of sports stations, each led by experienced coaches and volunteers. See below for some of the activities.
The Metrics and More program was developed in 2020. Since access to training, travel and outside activities was restricted, the program was born. The cost of youth sports development is costly in Hawaii. For athletes to develop and get noticed for College Opportunities is limited due being and Island Community. This program uses the expertise of experienced trainers and cutting-edge equipment to measure check points in athletic performance. We work with players 8 and up in understanding the measurements and how they will be viewed as they develop. The goal is to create an edge when reaching the testing point of showcases and college visits. Along with our financial literacy program, we prepare families for a more selective approach to the college recruiting path. And of course, try and save expenses along the way. We have helped with thousands of metrics measurements for Hawaii athletes since the program was developed. Your donation will help to sponsor athletes in this program
This Player went from 70 mph Exit to over 100 mph in 2.5 years - This is an example of the performance measurement - Started with Driveline Hitting Program, Used Pocket Radar for Initial Velocity Training, then went to Rapsodo for multiple metric results
Family Financial Foundations start with the Family. Our education programs range from working with the MLB Players Trust Stem League to Reducing the cost of College Recruiting path. Classes include the Stem Program from Learn Fresh, Understanding Credit and Budgeting, the cost of Living away from Home, and many other more basic and advanced classes. Our Education Director is a Nationally Recognized consumer financial literacy instructor. The team reaches out with both youth, teen and adult programs with support from your generosity.
Community Outreach has been going for the last 20 years for our family in Hawaii. Added a formal program that includes food for families, backpacks for students, and sports equipment for youth activities to name a few. Most importantly, we sustain our programs on the many volunteers in which only some are represented above. In the last 5 years we have procured and donated well over $50,000 in equipment and countless hours to the communities in Hawaii.
